Jim Gudnight is CEO(Cheaf Executive Officer) and founder of the SAS Institute.Actually SAS was conceived by Anthony J.Barr in the year of 1966. J.Barr is a graduate student from North Carolina State University.Gim goodnight developed a “Multiple Regression program”. Barr had created an Analysis of Variance,inspired by Maurice Kendall.then these two programmers collaborated in 1968 year and developed a SAS Program. After some years Sall ,Helwig programmers also joined in 1976 year for the development of SAS Program.Finally in 1976 year SAS Institute was incorporated by Barr,Goodnight,Sall,Helwig.
