language proficiency.This examination specially designed for the Non-native English speakers, wishing to study at United States

History of TOEFL:
In 1962 year,a National council made up a conference about
English language,Thirty government and private organizations was formed to addresses
the problems in English language proficiency for Non-native English speakers.
The TOEFL test was developed at the Centre for Applied Linguistics in the guidance of Stanford University,United
States of America,California.This examination is a computer based test.The
TOEFL introduced in 2005 year.The TOEFL iBT format test is now still conducting
in several countries like United States of America,Canada,France,Germany and
Italy.Reading,Listening,Speaking,Writing sections are mapped in the TOEFL
examination.
Accepted TOEFL Scores:
The minimum TOEFL iBT
score is 61 to 100,this is a accepted score for Bowling Green State University.

table for comparing the scores.It is a
conversion table between iBT ,CBT(Computer Based TOEFL),Paper Based TOEFL(PBT)
scores.
