UPSC Combined Defence Service (CDS) 464 Posts Recruitment 2014
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Defence Service Examination (CDS) (II) has released its official notification for the various posts in Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the course (Men and Women).These recruitments will be filled up for the 2014 year.
Total Posts - 464
Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 200 Posts
Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Men): 175 Posts
Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Women): 12 Posts
Qualification: Degree of a recognized university or equivalent.
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 45 Posts
Eligibility Criteria : All the candidates who wish to apply for the above various posts ,they must be qualified in the B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 Posts
Eligibility Criteria : Contenders who wish to apply above Airforce Academy posts,they should passed in the Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

For Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy & Air Force Academy :
Subject Duration Maximum Marks
English 2 Hours 100
General Knowledge 2 Hours 100
Elementary Mathematics 2 Hours 100
For Officers Training Academy
Subject Duration Maximum Marks
English 2 Hours 100
General Knowledge 2 Hours 100
Negative Marking : Candidates should note that there will be Negative Marking for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type round.
Examination Fee Particulars : Applicants must pay the Rs.200/- at any branch of SBI by cash / by using net banking of SBI / by using Credit/ Debit card.
Female/ SC/ ST candidates are exempted from examination fee.
